On August 27–28, 2026 a deep partial lunar eclipse covers about 96% of the moon. It is not a full totality, but it looks close enough that people are calling it an almost blood moon.

Scripture has always used the darkened or blood-colored moon as a sign, not a calendar novelty. Joel 2:31. Acts 2:20. Revelation 6:12. The question is not “did the sky do something pretty.” The question is what we are supposed to notice when the lights in the heavens change.
