Seven seals. Seven trumpets. Seven vials. Do they run one after another, or do they overlap on one timeline? And why does God sound a trumpet for one set of judgments and pour out a vial for the next?
Tonight Watchful puts the seals, trumpets and vials together on a single Revelation timeline. He starts at the seventh seal, when "there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour," and the seven angels "which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets." Then he follows it through to the seven angels with "seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever." Watchful also does a Greek word study on salpinx (trumpet) and phiale (vial or bowl): a trumpet gives warning, and a vial is poured out. If there is time, he will also go over the numbers for building the Ezekiel temple and where Lisbon would end up after the expected magnetic pole shift.
"And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever." Revelation 15:7
